Lots of good alternatives to Ducks have been discussed on the forums. ![]()
Here are two links to long threads discussing gas cards in the past year or so.

The rest of the terms are all accurate except that this card has No FTF as well when it is finally time to go out of the country. I went for it for the 4% back at restaurants, fast food, and bars which I know US Bank will properly honor. I personally do not consider the spend bonus in my decision but if I earn it then I earn it.
Congrats again on the card! It seems like it has great terms and I mean that sincerely. No offense was intended on the "Pink" remark but it was noticeably different from most cards and I hadn't seen it before. I was just teasing a little about it; there's nothing wrong with pink.
I don't think there is anything wrong with my monitor or my eyes. They were obviously trying to make a statement and make it stand out by turning it vertically and selecting an unusual color, so they succeeded!
Either way, it all spends the same, so enjoy the card and that awesome 4% cash back!
My employers main color is purple. I am fairly certain that I can handle it. This card is new as far as I can see with applications only becoming available 3 days ago. Since I applied yesterday that is literally the day after release. My understanding is that US Bank was trying to cut costs on this product as they used a two tone(Red, White) design with one tone(White) being a base color of the plastic. Also the colors all seam like they are printing colors so when it comes out on paper it will be easy to mix by apply one color and done. The only thing complex is the G in go which probably did not take much of the designers time. All in all this is a pandemic product.
@K-in-Boston wrote:Huge congrats!! I believe you are the first myFICOer to have an approval for the card.
Since the card was released a few days ago that is perfectly possible. I did not see any other approval threads for it. Is there a trophy/t-shirt I should know about for introducing new product?

Sorry but that card is not on my radar. I have no plans for going after it since it has nothing that I am looking for.

do you mind sharing your data points? Thank you!

I would like to but that this time it is still getting sorted out. Expect me to add them shortly though.
To everyone else I do appreciate the good wishes. I hope that people will consider this card as a new addition or replacement for some of their plastic collection. Just like the rest of US Bank's lineup it is solidly built in my opinion for now and the future.

I believe I might be the first approved with it here. I was preparing for a second Cash+ but this popped up and I just abused every thing US Bank offered to expedite the application through. Pre-prepared credit reports, login for prefill and existing customer identification, as well as being on a fiber line(that has to help right?).
Soft pull for the Go card
My wife and I went to our local US bank branch to discuss options for new accounts. We finalized the decision on the new accounts. Near the end of our conversation, the representative offered my wife and I the idea of operning up the Go card. We were worried about the hard pull on our credit. The representative stated that only a soft pull would be needed to open this Go card. We have had a long relationship with US bank. Has this offer has been presented to other people? We decided to wait on the offer.
@Anonymous Welcome to MyFICO
I've had the Altitude Reserve and Premier Line of Credit offered to me in-branch but I passed on both as I was sure it would be a hard pull for each.
Congrats !
Congrats on the approval. I pulled the trigger too few days ago. Applied for the GO card as well as biz platinum and so far I still show one TU pull for both after 5 days, hopefully stays that way lol
Congratulations on your approval! Nice staring credit line also.

If only ![]()

Just got the card today. I have to say "WOW...I'm impressed". They really wanted to make a rather solid product. The outside feels like flat PVC but the weight is similar to my Chase Amazon Prime card which is metal. I am seriously thinking that they might have slapped a metal core between two plastic halves on this one but there is no mention of metal. They are definitely trying to make it more professional. Lastly all of their previous cards were from Perfect Plastic Printing but this one is from Idemia which is new. I almost thought the Perfect Plastic contract was exclusive.
