Capital One is on my closure list but before I did that I needed to find a better credit card to make up the lost creditline I would lose of $15,000. I opened a Checking/Savings account with NFCU today and applied for their Cashback Rewards card. $15,000 creditline. Goodbye Capital One! I will lose 18 years of continuous history with Capital One but my FICO scores are 805, 802 and 820 across all three credit bureaus.
@CA4Closure
Super Congrats on your Navy Fed Cash Rewards $15,000 SL!
First things first: You're either active duty, a veteran or a family member
of an active duty member/veteran. From one veteran to another,
Thank You for your service!!
When one door closes, another one opens. Navy Fed is a terrific financial
institution that will serve you extremely well. I've been with Navy Fed
since 2010, and it's one of the smartest decisions I've ever made.
Congrats again on your appoval. Thanks so much for sharing!
Congrats on your new NFCU Cash Rewards card! Nice SL as well!
Thank you to you too! Just sick and tired of Capital One playing games.
I should have joined years ago but constant deployment (too many around the world tours
on aircraft carriers), I just didn't spend too much time on the state side. Now I am spending more time at home so I decided to join NFCU.

You say you are tired of Capital One playing games with you? Well a lot of us would love Capital One to play games with us to the tune of a $15,000 credit line. I realize you think you should be further alone after 18 years. But some of us, like me, are stuck in bucket hell with Capital One and won't be going beyond my $1500. Congrats on Navy Fed!
