PNC Core $5k increase to $22k

Not a card I actively use, but rather some BT's here and there when needed.

Woke up yesterday to a $5k increase from $17k to $22k. PNC is my main bank, has been for almost 10 years. Have a car loan with them (2018 Rogue) and also their Cash Rewards card (approved 3/2020 @ $25k).  Had the card for 4 years 3 months, started at $1,500 SL. This one for sure has been my biggest grower, and increases the relationship w/ PNC.

Its seemed you got automatic increase....I didnt know PNC gives out automatic increase...I also have had Cash Rewards card for many years but never got any automatic increase...Yesterday I requested increase on my card and got $5k...and it says that I would be able to request on 05/10/23 which is 189 days...and not 180 days...This date is given by their system as to when I would be able to request next CLI...I got now $25k....do you think PNC could go beyond $25k as SP for CLI??

I haven't had much in terms of automatic increases with PNC, mostly SP manual requests. I would think they would go over the $25k mark, just depends on your portfolio. PNC tends to focus more on the upper end of clientele so it's likely they would go above.

Re: PNC Core $5k increase to $22k

Congrats on the CLI! I think PNC's cards are pretty mediocre, but they do have SP CLI and seem to be pretty generous with it when requested. Getting an auto-CLI is just a cherry on top!
