Just posting for the datapoint
RedCard Store card opened 3/3/23 $1200 CL
Auto CLI of. $1800 to $3K total CL 01/27/24
Today I received a letter stating on 3/30/24 they'll automatically upgrade the card to the MC version unless I call to decline the upgrade
I don't often shop at Target but every couple of months I have been buying digital iTunes gift cards on target.com for the 5% discount, I wouldn't say I've regularly used this card
Congratulations on your upgrade!!
Congrats on your upgrade.
Congrats on the upgrade!
Congratulations. I thought they usually didn't upgrade to the Mastercard version until you were around the $5,000 credit limit. They might have given you a credit increase as well.
Congratulations!

They did an increase of $1700 but that only brought the limit to $3K, maybe they'll do another increase when they issue the card on 3/30/24 - not sure but I'll be sure to circle back with an update if they do
Congrats to you on your cli and upgrade with Redcard

I think the MC conversion amount averaged at around $6,100. This was based on DP I had collected from 2020. There has been at least one poster that has gotten the MC at $2000.
