0% intro card?

My wife’s disco 0% period is expiring and she wants a new 0% to BT. Scores are in 720-730 range. She burned chase and citi sons ago and they haven’t forgotten. I suspect she can get most other cards.

Anyone have a suggestion for a card with a 0% intro offer that works w BTs?

App for a second Discover card. You can have multiple

Now if you are trying to shuffle debt that’s on the discover you currently have, you’ll have to move it elsewhere first.

I think Amex has a $5k limit on BTs...not sure how large a balance we're talking about.

+1!

This is exactly what I did recently. You just have to have had your disco for a year before you can get approved for another one. If you go for another disco, make sure you get the one that is offering 0% for 18 months with 3% fee. It’s hard to find it on their site but you can google around for the offer and it’ll come up. I found the offer through nerd wallet which then allows you to apply directly from discover.

Also if you need to move debt from Discover, you will need a card to park the debt on temporarily. If you have a cap 1 they offer no transfer fee BTs at your regular apr.

US Bank Platinum also offers 0% for 18 months as well.

NFCU has a 0% intro offer? Which card?

Platinum 0% and $0 fee for BTs for 12 months but no intro purchase APR so it’s a transfer and SD until paid card. Still a steal with the $0 fee.

So it must be a Balance Transfer for the 0% to be activated? No new purchases?

Correct. Making new purchases on the card will be at regular full APR. More Rewards has 6 months at 1.99% on purchases only but none of their cards have a 0% intro purchase APR.
