I know, I know ... why take a card with no initial promos, but I was getting twitchy in the garden

Instant approval, $18k @ 13.99%
That's 1% higher APR vs. my Citi DoubleCash, but it will come down 1% in 12 months, so will be a match.
Let's see what kind of promos they offer, worse case scenario, another $0 FTF card that earns something.
Let's see what kind of promotions they offer, could be interesting.
It's odd, I am a legacy Sofi Money account customer and I added myself to the waiting list on day-1 when this CC was announced, and I never heard anything from them since concerning this.

Sadly, I need to keep my gold spade for now, keeping my sights on Nusenda and socks cash+ in May (will be 0/12), but oh how easy it would be to veer off the road...
Did you ever wind up going for this card?
Even though I was put on the waiting list since day one, I never got a notice from them.
Was this pre-approval in the app or via email?
Card still isnt open to all?
I went on the waitlist on October 29 and still waiting. 87-day login streak from clicking the Credit Card tab in the app 😃
It's an okay card for what it's worth - but I have (as mentioned previously by other members) is them taking my payment and not immedately adding it back to my credit. It's been almost a week and it still hasn't been released for my available credit. It's frustrating to say that least. I still have my PayPal MC which is good for backup becuase as soon as my credit posts, my available credit is ready to use.

In your case, I have a strong suspicion that your next statement will cut on February 12th. Which is 25 days before March 9th. And February 9th is 25 days after January 15! Would be interested to hear back from you if this is true! What remains to be seen is if their are any curveballs that thrown if a statement closing date is on a weekend. I know Sync won't close on a Saturday (they'll move it to Friday). Not sure what SoFi will do.
Right you were! My statement closed yesterday!

Woohoo! Great news! Now we just have to figure out if SoFi will let a statement close on the weekend. Unfortunately my next closing is the Feb 26th (a Friday). According to my calculations, we both are supposed to have a Saturday closing date in May (that is unless SoFi moves it to Friday). And then we both have a Sunday closing date in August (unless SoFi moves it) so it will be a while before either of us can be a datapoint for weekend closing dates.
Is there anyone with this card who has gotten a statement that closed on a weekend? According to our research and data points, SoFi statements will close 25 days before the next due date (due date is the same day every month by law), so you can just take your due date in the following month, and count back 25 days (or just type "25 days before [due date]" in google) to determine your next closing date but we aren't sure if that rule includes weekends.
Does anyone else get one too many fraud text?
In the beginning I could not pay for gas to save my life with this card. Always declined and got text message from SoFi Fraud asking if it was me, and to reply Y or N (too late to do anything). I was using apple pay in the gas app for what it's worth, which just makes it even stranger to decline the charge since you have to do verification when you add the card to apple pay which means it's very unlikely for an apple pay transaction to be fraudulent. The odds are higher that someone finds my card on the ground and uses it.
Just had an online order at a well known, major chain, auto parts store get declined and got the SoFi Fraud message. The retailer won't rebill the card...I'll have to cancel the order and place it again. After waiting almost a week to get the parts to finally ship...lovely.

Nope. Haven't gotten one yet. My SoFi card isn't getting amazeballs usage (things that don't slot into categories like haircuts, utility bills, streaming) but haven't seen one yet.
Just used mine for 1001.00 to meet 1k spend bonus for $100 bonus and haven't seen a swipe since.. Will get one every 4-6 months . No fraud alerts one charge was 900 and some odd change other was approx 100 dollars so not really a chance to give me a fraud alert
