Re: AMEX Product Change

Same thing happened to me.  10K miles showed up , then another 5K.

On a side note, when I activated my Skymiles card the rep told me I would be getting 10K free Skymiles when my first purchase posts.  I told her that when I applied online, the app said I would be getting 15K, not 10K, and all the ads for the Skymiles say 15K free miles.  She asked me if it said 15K or up to 15K.  I had to admit that I didn't remember.

So I asked her, "If it was up to 15K, what determines the actual number?  What did I need to do to make it 15K instead of 10K?"

Since she didn't have an answer for me, she said she would open a case.  They would investigate it and someone would call me within 10 business days.

I never received the promised phone call, but about a week later 5K Skymiles showed up on my account, and the other 10K showed up when the first statement hit (along with another 2,500 for adding an AU).

Just FYI for anyone else who may not initially get all the miles they were promised.

Do you need to have a FF or Points account with Delta in order to spend the AMEX Skymiles rewards?

Re: AMEX Product Change

You can either assign your existing Skymiles acct or they will create one for you.
