Not sure if I'm asking this in the right place...kind of a strange situation I guess. I've been desperately trying to rebuild my credit.after it crashed adn burned after my divorce. Have mostly cleaned up my reports, and now have several accounts in good standing. No late payments, ever. My current total avail. credit is $11,500. Current util. is 21% due to medical bills. Here's where my situation comes in. I've been an AU on my grandmother's BOA Visa since high school. I lived with my grandparents, so it was a convenience thing. I haven't even had a physical card since I moved out over 10 years ago. The card has NEVER reported. I recently applied for a BOA card of my own (denied), and now, magically the card is reporting. It was opened in 1971, and my AAoA has just jumped to 43 years. Lol. The problem is, the util is super high, and it's destroying my util. I really don't know all that much about my grandparents finances. They own a business, so tend to run a lot of money through their cards. I don't know if the util on this card is always this high (about 90%), but they also have at least 10x's the available credit I do. Just not sure what the best course of action is to take here? Would appreciate any advice.
How did your scores change when this AU card started reporting? What were they, change, and now what are they?
Is the utilization on the one AU card 90%? What is the shown credit limit for that card?

Utilization falls under Amounts Owed. AAoA falls under Length of credit history.
