Alert Today and Not Sure What To Think...

I have an old Sears card that was a CO but I paid the CA. The creditcard is closed and has been for several years.

What could this be ...maybe another CA snooping around ?

It was dated yesterday 12/1/11 and recieved alert today.

My Alert from EQ says.... ( No alert from myFICO)  MPM and USAA also reported the same alert.

there r some very bad credit collectors out there, try googling the company and see what it turns up

No mention of collector..just an alert of activity on dormant card. What would cause this..any ideas ?

Just a guess, but maybe they're soft pulling to pre-qual you on something?

I'm confused...why would sears do that ..the account is closed and shows as a CO.

That is sears address on the alert.

I did..I have multiple sources for daily pulls with  EX EQ MPM and USAA and no soft inquiries regarding sears at all.
