Amex Saks $50 credit for...BevMo?!?

On June 29 I used my Schwab Platinum at a BevMo store (a chain of liquor stores) and spent a little over $50.

On July 2 I received a "Shop Saks With Platinum Credit" of $50. When I expand the item for details, it gives the BevMo store name and address.

I can't find any financial links between the two companies. Weird!

*Looking around a bit further, this does not seem to be an isolated case. Someone else got the credit at a 7-Eleven.*

Lol Mt Juliet is less than 1/2 mile from my home 😂. Also, I used shop runner, although not sure it made much difference. 

@K-in-Boston, I just checked. The charge is still pending but the credit has already been applied.

What did you two order with 50$ or spent a bit more to get something worth while and value?  I probably will find something this weekend and order it to ensure i dont forget about the credit..

Ordered two polo t-shirts on sale as my work is casual overall..  Total with tax is 53.04 so I suppose 3.04 for two shirts is a good deal lol ..  Charge is still pending, but item has been shipped already..  Waiting for credit to show up as I believe @Anonymous you mentioned it showed up pretty much immediately?  I also used my shop runner membership through Amex on another card for free 2 day shipping ..  Hopefully I have no hassles with reimbursement of the $50, but don't suspect I will

Ordered 2 ties that were on sale $51 w/ tax $54.23.  

The best part is getting 255 AA miles (5x on portal) for $4.23 with the two ties.
