Must be user error.
Wow, thank you for your keen insight and insulting commentary about the glitch/lag issue I have observed with the Amex 'redesign' of their website.
Perhaps you can school me how I am supposed to "open" a website correctly on my computer. I await your instructions.
And again, thank you for adding your wisdom to this Amex website glitch thread.
Are you on a sketchy network? Like our in the country on a cell tower? My guess is there are time outs built into the app and you are getting these errors due to slow connection speed.
I am at a loss. Seriously. This isn't about me. I was passing on observational data about how Amex made changes to their website and errors and glitches arose.
And this has absolutely nothing to do with the App, cell phone networks, wireless networks, mobile websites, or my ability to operate a computer.
This is Desktop Website on Desktop (I.E. Real computer) using land based internet, that has NO issue with lag on ANY other websites.

Relax. You don't have to jump down anyone's throat. I was offering a serious response like you requested. No one else seems to be having a problem with AmEx, so inquiring about your network connection is completely logical. Now that it has been ruled out, we can move on to other possible causes.

............... I suspect the cause is that Amex has changed their website.
No one else has made a post that they have also noticed a problem with the website code, but no one else has posted that they have not.
So, I had clearly posted the issues I initially noticed with the website and the browsers used.
Millionsofmiles decided that after two years of not posting that:
And with your help we have concluded that it isn't actually me, my internet, or my ability to properly go to a website and must be an Amex website redesign issue that they seem to be getting under control.

So, I had clearly posted the issues I initially noticed with the website and the browsers used.
- FicoMike made the observation that the App is not having a problem. I agreed that the App doesn't seem to have a problem. So, Ficomike and I have noticed the issues do not seem to extend to the App.
- I updated that the main issue of a 2nd Amex card having trouble propagating (may have been/seems to have been) fixed.
- Stated that the page loading issue seems to be the same.
- I pointed out that Amex has announced that they have indeed redesigned the website.
Millionsofmiles decided that after two years of not posting that:
- this thread was worthy of his time to point out I seemed to be talking to myself as I updated the thread with my observational data about the website issues
- since no one else had made a reply about this that it was clearly my fault for not knowing how to open a website
And with your help we have concluded that it isn't actually me, my internet, or my ability to properly go to a website and must be an Amex website redesign issue that they seem to be getting under control.
Well, I tried my best. Hope you get your answer.
