Anyone with a new PenFed credit card approval, is there a delay getting physical card?

Was approved for a PCR 11/23, received email on 11/25 the card was mailed. Yesterday I still hadn't received card, called to ask if it had actually been sent & was told that the same day I got the email it had been mailed, PenFed was notified there's a delay in production due to supply issues, my card was still pending production & check back in 10 more days. 
I was also told that due to the delay, when the card is finally made, it will be sent out express. 
Has anyone else had a recent issue getting their card from PenFed?

Not PenFed per se but I have seen numerous articles as of late where new CC's shipments were being delay due to supply issues.

I can confirm, just a few months ago (Aug - Sept 2022 timeframe) was approved for PenFed and had to wait 7 - 10 business days according to their snail mail letter.  Card actually arrived just shy of 15 business days.

Penfed was a little slow shipping my PCR and that was last december.

As a long term PenFed customer, there a bit slow at everything except collecting money.

Premier America FCU was pretty good to me my score was good 730ish but with a ton of new accounts and inquiries they offered me 2.74% vs around 6 from PenFed.

I had a message on my C1 app saying that my new Savor card was mailed and to activate it.

Card arrived three weeks later.

A dozen of mine that are close to expiring sent email/text notifications with extended delivery timeframes (i.e. 7-10 days became ~14-20 days). On the upside, a variety of them are spread on several virtual wallets which would minimize any disruption, but thankfully I have back ups 👽 Some recent 'newbies' haven't arrived yet, but I'm fairly patient given the supply chain circumstances.
