Personal CC pics are verboten.
If they weren't. I'd post one for every approval I got.
I'll explain why they aren't allowed.
Several years ago people were posting their cards with personal information i.e. names and account numbers showing. Even if they tried to mask the information there was concern that software was available that could peel away the masking and reveal the data.
So it was decided that in fairness and for security reasons that no personal pictures would be allowed.

Yeah a few people posted personal info or the layered PSD file which allows you to remove and view the concealed info, but everyone else did a great job posting. The policy is there to protect the dummies, which I understand but it is unfortunate because it's fun to see how card actually look.

I figured this was the reason. And I guess it was easier to have a blanket policy than to allow pictures that have physical objects hide information? Or, in this case, allow pictures of cards that have no visible personal information (i.e., discover or others like it).

I don't want to further hijack but like this idea. A physical object blocking the info is a good way to eliminate the risk. Perhaps Marine can shed some insight on how we could possibly alert the staff to revisit the policy. Thanks.
I'm just passing along the current policy.
Whether it changes in the future is a decision above my pay grade!! ![]()

So I was actually a Discover More cardholder before and called in to PC to It once the chip cards became available. I wasn't expecting my new card until next month but it apparently showed up already as a late Christmas present, with a chip even.
I also had requested the retro Discover More chip card online late last week out of curiosity since I was going to get a new card anyway; I'm thinking they swapped it out with the It design without asking and I'm not going to get that particular design.
I also have a Discover Zip contactless card that's still valid according to the website. I heard that it's not supported with It so maybe it'll stop working once the statement closes?
