Received 1 Points Card & 1 Cash Rewards yesterday, still awaiting another Points Card. Dialed up a csr inquiring about the delayed Points card, she assured it has at least shipped. Also confirmed intro APR is effective.
Called in today with a bit of spare time I had this morning and closed out my virtual checking alot easier with PNC than BBVA having to clear balance to zero. They are just sending me a money order and already shows closed and CSR was excellent and very professional as never had an issue with PNC as their customer service has always been top notch whether mortgage or CC or in this case the checking account. One less checking account I need to worry about for the time being with an AF if thresholds arent met.
With PNC aquiring BBVA, my BBVA Visa has been changed to a PNC Points Visa Signature.
I have no prior relationship with PNC. Since the cl is $20k, I would like to keep the card, but was wondering if anyone has this card and what the benefits are.
Also, how isPNC on future cli.
Thanks for your help.

Card honestly stinks overall their best cards is cash rewards. For a 20k I would keep it.. Every 6 months CLI are soft pulls and will increase usually 5k a SP cli although varies. As long as your income / fico and profile supports it it will certainly grow in time
PNC is facing some heated backlash in the media over money access issues and other major IT issues with BBVA customers.
This along with the Clearpoints nerfing isn't going to win over much of BBVA's clientele...

I've been a PNC account holder almost as long as I have been a BBVA account holder, and for 2 years I've been very happy with both. That said, the merger of the 2 has made me view PNC less favorably.
I went to a branch the other day to close my checking account. There was a line and as the article states, many of the customers behind me were having trouble with the card not working and wanting to access their funds, etc.
After closing the account they printed me a cashier's check. I tried to do a mobile deposit but my bank won't take it (I've tried two of my CUs).
I then look at the check and it doesn't have their account number in the magnetic strip part of the check. Only a routing number. The other part of the check is literally #**# something like that. It's literally blank.
I really don't want to have to go BACK to the bank if this check really won't deposit.
I still have not received the PNC Cash Rewards. There is a nice Bed Bath and Beyond offer I could use but the way things are going the offer will expire before the card arrives. Lol
Called them to close my 2 checking accounts and was advised it was best to zero out first. Didn't insist because the rep sounded a little confused. Anyway I moved the bulk out to Schwab but left enough to meet the minimal balance requirements. Will call again on Monday.
They raised my APR. It was like 14% with BBVA and now it's 21.49% with PNC. While I try not to carry a balance, sometimes I can't help it. Looks like this card is going to sit in my wallet or get closed.
Has anyone still not gotten their PNC CC since the BBVA conversion? I haven't yet.
