Re: BBVA/PNC CLI data points & other transition tips

It's definitely odd that folks are still waiting for their converted cards. I would've thought by now most would have received them.

So, of the 5, I've already received the replacement/conversion for the BBVA AmEx; and just a few days ago, the 2 re-issued ones that were compromised on 10/14. So, technically, 3 out of 5. But, the 2 others (non-compromised) are probably sitting somewhere in a conveyor belt in PNC's card processing unit. The 2 that were compromised have not arrived either 🤷🏼‍♂️

Re: BBVA/PNC CLI data points & other transition tips

Geez, the 2 I received on 10/22 were in also in fact compromised on VERY 1st day of transition (11th) . I received 2 texts within 20 minutes asking to confirm if I made purchases to company named 'Public Relations' for $92.XX. Of course not, haven't used any bbva card since Aug b/c I didn't want to carry a balance over to PNC. Truly thought I'd get another text for $92.XX on 3rd card but the rep insisted on not closing that account number until/if that happened.  Fortunately it did not. So the uncompromised card in the one I'm waiting on. Still would like to know who charged my cards!

Those were very similar "Public Relations" charges (and amounts) on mine too! I believe the agent mentioned these were generated from somewhere in Australia. I would assume there were countless others with similar compromised outcomes. Interestingly that of the 5 [BBVA] cards only (and thankfully) 2 were compromised on my end.

Nothing here either. But I did call and close the "virtual wallet account" before they start charging fees!

I keep seeing $2 looming to be charged, but it doesn't happen.

I have $750 in there since the conversation - isn't $500 required to be free from fees?

@Wavester64, I think it is $500 min? .. The rep did try to talk me into "FREE" until April  ...

I said No thanks, I have no use for it. Please just close it now. (nice rep thoughSmiley Happy)

No new card here yet, not that I'm in a hurry to use it....

Still no replacement card here, either. Don't use the card anyway, and I think the APR went up. This card will be closed soon.

Well, Informed Delivery is showing four credit card-looking items in tomorrow's  mail. Hopefully those are my new PNC cards.

FICO 8 scores Nov/Jan 2021: EQ 779/751, TU 750/770, EX 763/746 Fully recovered from 5-year Ch13 discharged July 2018.
Last recorded: FNBO Evergreen and PSECU Founder's Card Dec 2021. Seriously out of date, at least 10 more since then.

ID shows a suspicious-looking white envelope from PO Box 96065 Pittsburgh for delivery today.  Can't say I'm overly excited but I'd appreciate getting the new card and tying up that loose end.
