The target REDcard gives free shipping online? Is there a purchase amount requirement?

They sure do - no minimum purchase amount required as long as it's purchased with your REDcard or Target Visa card.

REDcard free shipping

Re: C'mon Target...

Wait a second, you spend $7,500 a month at target for over a year and they won't give you a CLI? I'd say take that 100k you spent elsewhere!

Re: C'mon Target...

Mine has been at $200 for 5 years and I've tried to get it increased several times with no success. I have 4 CCs with over 5k CL

Re: C'mon Target...

Buy like 100 things online at $2 one at a time for free shipping. That'll get them mad and maybe they'll increase your limit? lol, j/k.

Re: C'mon Target...

Not sure if it makes a difference, but I wouldn't compare Targets practices from years ago to recent changes. Target recently changed banks, and if you search current threads folks are starting to see some cl. I just opened my card two months ago was given 500cl, and although I use the card heavily for all my necessities it serves it's purpose with the perks you get.

Re: C'mon Target...

The debit card also gives you the same perks and comes out of your checking account automatically approx. a day or two later. No bills to worry about. Of course you have to have the funds available.

Re: C'mon Target...

I kept reading that Target is stingy on limits for their store card, so I only have their debit card for the 5% and free shipping. I don't believe the store card offers any additional special perks, so the debit card made the most sense for me.
