Sorry if this is a stupid question/has been asked before....If I add an AU to my CSP & Freedom for the bonus UR points, does it matter how long I keep them as an AU? I prefer to not have any AUs, but I am willing to add for the bonus points. Will I be flagged for churning or whatever if I remove someone shortly after receiving the points...or should I keep them on for at least 3-6 months to be safe?

No real answer for that question.. Common sense I guess.. Chase will know if you add and remove once the bonus is removed, but will they really do anything? Don't know.. My parents are on mine, but are very financially well off and have good credit. So I will let them be on the CSP as long as they want, but others obviously might have a concern. I would say a yearish if you want to play it safe?

@Anonymous @CreditCuriousity stated, it all about playing it safe. Adding them and then removing them right after the bonus will be a big red flag. Will those few bonus points be worth the risk of losing the entire account? Only you know best.
just add a person and dont give them the card after the first swipe

One thing you could do is request a card with your name on it. They don't ask for SSN, just the name, so if you are John Doe, you could request cards with J Doe as the name. Worked for me with my 2 Chase cards and I have the points. You can leave yourself as an AU as long as you want. Keep the cards or dispose of them, doesn't matter. I did this so I wouldn't have to add someone to my account and have it show on their reports. As a new account, it could hurt their credit. Also know that you don't have to use the AU card at all. If you read the bonus terms closely, you get the bonus if you add an AU and make a purchase. They did not say the purchase had to be with a specific card. I never used my AU cards, which have my first initial and last name and still got the bonus with no issues.
You don't even have to give them the card...just use it at an automated gas pump or pay cell phone bill.

Other varation could be first initial and full middle name.

You don't have to make a purchase with the AU card, can be with any card to qualify for the bonus.

Let's be careful advising someone to us a fictitious name in order to obtain a bonus. Any perceived violation of the lenders Cardmember Agreement can result in AA. He 5k bonus is not worth having a tl closed.
Thanks for the advice/suggestions. I am thinking about maybe using my brother's name (he's 12). That way, I can just sock drawer the cards for a year or so and it won't affect his credit, as it will either drop off or be deleted long before he's ready to apply for his own credit card.
