Capital One was my first card as I began to build my history. I got the Platinum in August $5k SL, got my auto-CLI ($500) a few weeks ago. Today I decided to see if I could upgrade and was given the options of the Quicksilver or the Venture One. I chose the Quicksilver. Feels better now all my cards have some sort of rewards.

Congrats! That was a good choice, The platinum card is a good starter but useless beyond that.  If your looking to add a second card I would wait a bit and try for a Discover card. They are pretty relaxed on new files and a pretty good card to have.

Rogue46 I applied for Discover a few months back. I made a thread about my Discover and AMEX denial at that time.
I actually have 5 cards now so I'm fine for a while. I would like to get a few more eventually Discover and Amex are two that don't seem to care for my profile so we'll see.
