Does the upgrade link work on business cards?

Good question.  Do you have one?  Clicking the link doesn't require you to commit to anything, so it would be useful to know!

I don't think it does. I have tried it on my Spark Classic many times and never get anything at all. Of course, I get the same thing from Craptial One with all my cards, nothing. lol

How do you check for other cards? I've got two, a QS and a Spark, but the link only pulls up my QS. On a weird note, it shows several Spark options for the QS upgrade...

Interesting. I had to call and have them separate my two cards so they would not show under a single singon. I have two online accounts now, one for each card. That helps me to make sure they each get a chance at upgrade. others here have stated they were able to get the 2nd card to show up but I don't remember how they did it.

Re: Capital One check for upgrade link

A while back I had zero success with this but today I checked on a whim and turned my Plat into a QS.  Pretty happy.  Now to just let it age a little more so I can hit Credit Steps and then move my limit from my QS1 into the QS and get rid of one more annual fee.

Thanks again for the link.  Worth it to check.

And for the record - until today the only card that showed up on the link was the QS1 and it was offering to upgrade me to a QS1 (same annual fee, etc) so if you have more than one (personal) card and only one shows up, keep checking every now and then - eventually something may show up.

So you "upgraded" from a no fee card that earns 1.5% cash back to a no fee card that earns 1.25% cash back only redeemable on travel?

Re: Capital One check for upgrade link

I would rather have the travel rewards, should i have left it the way it was? I used to have 2 quicksilver ones which i combined into 1 earlier this year after i was able to get the AF permanently removed. Thank you.

I would have left it, but that's just me. If you like the VentureOne better than the QuickSilver then you made the right choice. I just don't see the benefit of getting 1.25% cash back that is only redeemable for travel vs 1.5% cash back period. With the QuickSilver you could've got 1.5% cash back, took 1.25% of it and spent it on travel, then had an additional .25% cash back left over to be used for whatever you'd like.

Re: Capital One check for upgrade link

Worked for me about a month ago. It was MC QS upgrade to QS or Venture One. I took the same QS and it came as a World MC.

Re: Capital One check for upgrade link

I get upgrade not available any longer.

Is this because I froze my reports?
