Cashback using CC connected to PayPal

Hello, I have a question. I have CITI DC card and it is connected to PayPal. If I will buy something on Ebay using PayPal, will I have 2 % cashback? Are PayPal transactions considered like a regular purchase from a regular seller?

Yes, regular purchases made using PayPal are coded as purchase, and earn rewards.

Isn't there a small fee for using a CC through PayPal purchases instead of a checking account?

I suppose there is no fee for using CC for buying.
