Upon logging into my Chase Accounts, it informed me I am approved (not pre-approved) for the following cards:
1. Chase Sapphire Reserve
2. Chase Sapphire Preferred
2. Chase Freedom Unlimited
3. Chase Freedom Flex
I am wondering if acquiring one of these cards (likely a Sapphire card, as I travel frequently) will help my FICO scores? Currently I have the following cards
1. Capital One Journey Mastercard ($750 limit)
2. Capital One Platinum Secured Mastercard ($500 limit)
3. Wells Fargo Propel Amex (Authorized User, $7,000 limit)
My FICO8 scores are:
Experian: 660
Equifax: 695
Transunion: 642
In the long term, sure -- depending how you manage your credit profile and whatnot. Just keep in mind that there may be some initial 'stings' that may impact your scores such as the inquiry or HP for accepting/applying for the offer (minor impact) and the account reporting which would influence your AAoA (moderate impact). These are obviously short term impacts.
That said, select one of the offers *if* it fits your spending habits or lifestyle. If you are looking to supplement or fill a gap on cashback or travel rewards or other benefits, decide which card would be of benefit to you in the long term. Of the 4 displayed, weigh the pros/cons for those that have annual fees as well.
