I have never had any joy getting my APR lowered with Chase. I have had free miles (United-Chase airmiles card), offers of a product change and generally very good service and good CSRs.
But never a lower APR

I tried using the backdoor numbers on the thread for chase and still got a service rep. I am trying to lower my APR. They are stating that on both my cards, I am at the lowest possible. I have a chase freedom and a 17.9% apr. I know there are lower aprs. I know some people who have lower aprs. I also have another card (Priority Club Visa) which has an apr of 23.24%. I am sure they can lower it. Who or what number can i call to try to get the right person to change the apr? Thanks do you think if i was to product change, i would be able to change the apr?
oracles, which Backdoor Numbers did you try? All of them? Or only first 2-3?
The last one, Chase: 888-245-0625, which is for the credit analysts, should get you to an actual analyst. I tried it the other day for something, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't talking to a frontline CSR or just generalized Credit Services.

Thanks scamp for your response, i actually did call that one after calling the other ones first. Actually one is no longer working. I spoke with an someone and they then transferred me to an acct specialist and she stated she would not be able to lower any apr.
Please let me know either on here or via PM which number isn't working, so that I can delete it from the list.
It may be that you're at the lowest APR for either the product in question or for someone with your credit score or some such. I know I wasn't able to get my Chase card lowered, either - was told the current 12.24% is the lowest possible for that card (British Airways Visa).
Hope you're able to product change or find some other solution.
