@UpperNwGuy wrote:Where are you using your Priority Pass membership? I have Priority Pass through the CSR, but I've found it to be almost useless within the United States. I have used it some in Europe, but if I downgrade the CSR, I wouldn't pay an annual fee to a new card just to get Priority Pass.
The difference between the CSR and CSP is only $55 once you count the $300 travel credit. I may pick it up in the not too distant future to finish my trifecta (I've been saving my UR's for almost a year already).
Such an excellent find! I'll be sure to read up on any available DPs

Only 4 visits, but completely free. There was a huge thread about them a while back. There's like one person who does manual underwriting for all the ccs... So, at the time of the thread, it was a several month process to get approved. Without the flood of people from here during that thread, the wait time may be significantly shorter now, but it's not instant.
Some people got quite respectable starting limits iirc.
I don't recall anyone from that thread who applied for the Platinum Plus who didn't instead get issued a Platinum card, nor do I recall anyone getting more than a $10K SL.
Since that FOTM exercise the bank has reportedly put georestrictions in place.
So this is kind of cheating, but if you know someone who has a CSR, you can become an AU for $75 and get unlimited PP passes. Of course this requires you to know someone who has a CSR. Any volunteers?

Not really sure what's in it for the CSR holder.

That good feeling from helping people and the adrenaline rush of not knowing if a total stranger is going to max out your CL.
"Cheap" is a relative term.
I get priority pass from a $450 "keeper card" that gives me $800 in value every year.
So I get paid $350/year to have priority pass.

Of course this would be limited to close family and friends only. Ideally the AU would pay the primary cardholder $75 and not use the CSR at all except for the PP pass.
