I think they're all world cards.

Mine isn't a World or World Elite - just regular mastercard (20.8k limit). Smiley Frustrated

I did PC a Citi Amex when the DC first came out and I know there were a lot of inconsistencies at that time.

TU - 850 (BOA TU08 FICO/Barclay TU08), 831 (CK FAKO)
EQ - 870 (CITI FICO), 848 (ATFCU FICO), 831 (CK FAKO)
EX - 841 (AMEX FICO)

Re: Citi Double Cash

The world elite does come with a few extra benefits:

Funny thing is, my original world mastercard still works.  They both have identical numbers.  So really, for shopping online (not sure how swipe fees work for online), how would the company be able to differentiate between it being a world mastercard or world elite?

Re: Citi Double Cash

I just have the WM that came with an initial $1200 limit when I got it. A lot of their limits on these cards are just low I guess.

Re: Citi Double Cash

My WEMC has what I believe are WEMC benefits their puchase protection, warranty, loss, etc  are all far better than any of my VS cards including: CSP, Venture, etc or any of my other cards. Unless everybody at Citi is getting such benefits as a 2 year warranty on purchases then I believe it's exclusive to WEMC.

Re: Citi Double Cash

Someone explain to me why you think your card would lie and have a stamp on it that does not reflect the actual status of the card? Because I would think that's fraudulent if true, on the part of Citi, and very unlikely to be true, because Citi is a major bank and wouldn't jeopardize their business like that.

I have a World Elite version of the Double Cash, it has a SL of $2k. It came with some pieces of paper explaining protections and benefits. I have no idea why they issue cards like these. I figure it's to make them more desirable. I'm sure they're hoping people will rack up charges and then pay a nice interest rate when they forget they have to pay it down within the first 18 months. I'm really happy to have it and plan on paying mine down in 6 months.
