They have been down a week. My statement closes Saturday and I PIF last week. It better be reflected....
Like everyone else we are ALL locked out until they finally get things sorted out on their systems.
I WILL be expecting my bill courtesy USPS (non paperless) and i'm sure that will hit their payment address on time. In fact if things don't hurry up i will mail mine in OVERNIGHT EXPRESS with all receipts so im not trapped like those paperless peeps.
I have a My Place Rewards Card with them and although I HATE that they never give me luv, I shop at Childrens Place very often for their prices & the compounding discounts & rewards both the store & card offer so I suck up the CLI rejections.
That said, the site for this card said the same, so, I called on Thurs am & payed my bill with a rep. Ask to speak to an agent & tell them you were unable to pay online & would like to make a payment. The rep told me they usually charge a fee to take the pymt over the phone but because of the circumstances she would waive it.
Yesterday I see it was deducted from my bank account. PIF. That simple.

I've done that a couple times just to test it. Only a $8 charge i think but was an experiment in case it was needed. Glad to hear they waived you the same day fee and apparently CAN FINALLY take phone payments again.

I'm not sure what you mean as far as "paperless peeps". Text alerts are still working as well as email notifications of paperless statements. Those processes are separate from accessing account information such as the recent technical issues they're experiencing. I was able to access accounts on Sunday while others couldn't 🤷♂️
So, while this is a major inconvenience for plenty of customers with accessing their accounts, plenty of their other independent processes are still functioning. I can use my cards without issues, for example. Also, Comenity isn't the only entity that has experienced long term DOS site instances, SYNCB, DCU and others come to mind.
Hopefully, they'll do right for their customers with late fees (or whatever) once the situation is remedied.
Closing in on a week now...

Sure enough. I only noticed the scheduled service upgrade banners last Thursday from doing simple look ins to the accounts. Since then it's not changed YET.
I'm still not able to log into any of my Comenity accounts! I made a payment last week that should have posted to my checking account Friday, and it just posted tonight. I'm not sure what is going on, but this is not a good position for them to be in.
They need to get this fix. This system update is going to cost them a lot of customer confidence.

Well @Guyatthebeach, like so many thousands, or is it millions of others who hold Comenity/Bread card accounts, i certaintly hope that they do find a way to step it up, and soon too. While i'm not crunched currently under a timeline for statement/balance date like so many others are, yes it is very much concerning of course.
Outside of the online accounts, has everyone's cards been working? My wife said her VS card did not work in store today and was told by the employees that it's an issue with all Comenity VS cards.
