I called in a few days ago and got a human lady but she had no answers or any clue as to how long they would be down.

Read a ton of posts these past couple days from the main social platforms of customers filing CFPB and other agencies like AG of their respective states of residence etc. If it goes on much longer how does Bread Financial Holdings restore confidence or for that matter regain stock price drop which some say is tanking over this. Not to mention those now calling their respective and national news outlets demanding attention fearing a ransomware or other breach might have happened instead.
To add insult to injury bread financial sends me an email today asking for my opinion on a new card design.

Looks like Bread/Comenity was thinking about getting serious with valuable credit card offerings that have legitimate SUBs & lengthy 0% intro periods... & then their whole system takes a dump
I also found it weird that one of the error messages mentioned that it was planned maintenance, but that data was still secure....It gave me the feeling they'd been breached. Why would they need to reassure me about the safety of my data if it was planned maintenance...
I have the gas buddy card and called the automated system as I think i have a payment due soon. I cant even get thru entering my card number and zip code. It wants to transfer me to the CSR. I am so upset about this. I hope they dont charge me a late fee!

I have a Comenity MC. I had a bill that I usually pay online with Comenity that was declined today. It has been approved every month for over a year. I called customer service. They said there was nothing wrong with my card and I should still be able to use it. They could not give me any reason that the transaction was declined.
I will try using this card later at a store or gas station for a small purchase to see if that works, but will otherwise not use it until things get back to normal.




















...annnnnnnnnd Comenity's sites are STILL down as of 2:40pm EST. In addition, their voice system has sent me in so many different directions that I feel like I'm in Davy Jones' Locker here.
Folks can spout all the company lines they want here ("These things happen", "Synch is bad, too", etc.).
This is absolutely inexcusable for a company of Comenity's size and breadth.
I can see a little credit union having some technical glitches, but Comenity is the lender for a wide swath of MC/VISA/AMEX cards and limitless retail store credit cards. If they start socking customers with late payment fees and negative credit bureau reporting, they'll have a serious problem on their hands from large numbers of angry customers who will no doubt file complaints. Here's hoping that doesn't happen and wiser heads prevail.
Well, I was finally able to login to my Bread Amex a few minutes ago, BUUUT it says I have no rewards 🤨. I don't think it's quite done yet...






































Man this is STRANGE. Tried signing into a couple of accounts and you know how it normally offers cardholder the option of them Sending you what they call a Unique ID Code Number via text or email- but is now showing EMAIL UNAVAILABLE (No email address found)
Anyone else notice this?
