Anyone close one of their cards? Are they difficult to deal with?
Now that I have 3 solid cards and credit lines, I feel it’s time to put them on the chopping block. Account opened Dec 2018
I can't say I've closed an account with them but I've tried. When I called in to cancel both my cards they offered me zero annual fees on both. These two cards are the oldest cards on my profile so I decided to keep them. They kept their word with the fees. They credit my accounts each month. They were not difficult when I spoke with them.

Oh I understand. Had they not offered me that then I would have closed right away. They also offered me a CLI on both cards but I decided against that. I never use these cards and they just sit in a drawer.

you'll have to call them to close. they will, of course try to keep you as a customer.
But if you're paying thier fees and you have other options, it may be time to close the cards. Be firm that you want to close if that's what you want to do.
Once you finish speaking with them, ask for confirmation of closure. They more than likely will USPS it instead of email.
I gave them the chop a couple of years back. I think I had to tell them that yes, I really really wanted to close the card like 5/6 times before they actually did it.

Do close them. Credit One can serve its purpose for rebuilders, but once you have a better profile, close Credit One cards immediately.
Congrats on your improved credit!
Yes, they are a bit unpleasant and make it difficult to close.
Do it anyway.
It's so worth it!
.....and congrats!
