I suspect the 1% cashback will get extended indefinately until they have sorted out the many issues. They probably realize people will stop using it without the incentive of some cashback.

Agreed, that there's not much draw for this after the initial 1% cash back runs out. The only real exceptions that I can think of would be if you're maxed out on your digital wallet (16 cards for me on Apple Pay) or if you have a mastercard that doesn't support Apple Pay (like PayPal Cash Back Mastercard). Curve supports Apple Pay, so by using Curve I can use Apple Pay and it still gets charged to my PayPal CB MC.

I'm holding out hope. The europe versons of this card support visa credit cards but they do have pay tiers over there. This image is a clip of part of the uk payment schedule. If I was to guess they are working out bugs and negotiating, but thats just a guess. I am hoping for grandfathered free unlimited status.

I get a lot of value out of the go-back-in-time feature, so I will likely use it even after the 1% ends.
The European version of the card has just banned using Visa credit cards issues from outside of the EEA, so I wouldnt hold your breath for the Visa issue getting resolved any time soon.

A couple of days ago I was having a problem with not being able to set category rules (giving an error, and choosing 'retry' didn't work). I reported it online (along with attaching a screen print) and they got back to me in just a few hours (it was even late at night). Just a little while ago I got another email that the issue has been resolved and that I could uninstall/reinstall the app. Sure enough, now it's working.
While glitches are never fun, the product is still in beta and as long as the communication and response is quick I'm happy. I'm especially happy that using Curve gets me 5% back at Walmart this quarter with Discover, more than making up for having to deal with a small glitch.

Does Walmart SuperCenter (not Walmart Neighborhood Locations) code as grocery store on the Discover card through the curve card?

Just a quick note that it doesn't work with the Savor or Freedom Flex.
Or to be specific, the transaction will "work," but Capital One and Chase both can tell it's a WM charge which is specifically excluded from 'grocery' regardless of the MCC that's passed on. Discover is the only one of the three that can't see through the CRV* notation.

I'm still in the 1st year SUB period on my Discover IT Cash Back so 11% cash back at Walmart Super Center is mighty fine, and I don't have to curb side pick-up it either (required to get 5% on my C1 Walmart Rewards Card)!
