Congrats!!! I just got approved for Discover IT with 625 Fico and 9 baddies (18 months old: 5 90 day lates ; 4 chargeoffs ) All baddies have been paid off in full. this is my first prime card. I also got approved for the Citibank AAdvantage Platinum Select Visa. (Had a Citi bank Chargeoff (Paid)  in 2009- $5,000. ) Anythings possible.

Congrats OP! I'd be doing the happy dance too if I got approved too!

Just curious, does the rest of your other CCs have a similar credit limit? Im wondering how Discover determines your limit. Thanks and congrats again!

Just got approved for an It for $4500 as my first card. Literally the only thing in my history is a few months of student loan payments, so everything said about liberal credit lines and moderate credit is probably true. I too would be curious to know what made them send me an offer and where they got that number from.

Cap.1 $750..US Bank $1000, Walmart $750, Kays $10600, Target $200,  Maurices $750. and now Discover $1500. I have not hit the love button on any just going to sit back and wait about 6 months. I will say my reports are not perfect due to divorce in 2010. That left me with 2 CO's  and a collection for a little over $2000. The Co's I paid just as soon as I saw them on my reports. Word of advice always check your reports after a divorce. And always make sure when you are due for new CC's that they come to your address and not your old address. Always change your mailing infomation. My ex decided to use mine and not mention it at all. Lesson learned and karma came back to him. As for the collection , it falls off Nov 13, it is joint with my Ex. I plan on letting it fall off then I will pay the original amount to the original owner. I think they will take the money knowing they can't do anymore damage to me.

Congrats! Hopefully, I can get a Discover after 2 years or so.
