Has anyone been successful in product changing the doublecash to the custom cash yet?
I know there was rumors of it being possible on the 1st, but I've yet to see any DP regarding it. I Ieally hope they don't permanently exclude the DC from being eligible.

Hi @ShinsekaiYori ,
One report of a PC from Citi Rewards+ to Custom Cash ... YMMV

Yeah I've tried a couple of times now to PC the doublecash to no avail. I haven't tried since the first so I may give it another shot today. If I do I'll report back with what happened.

@ShinsekaiYori I watched a YouTuber today and he was successful by asking on the app chat. He recorded it on live.

I just tried to do it through the chat on the app and I've gotten a message that says all representatives are offline currently. Never had that before. I wonder if they're just sick of me asking hahaha.
I'll try again later and report back.

Replying to add that I reached a Citi agent on the chat. I asked if i could convert the card over and it seemed like it was going to happen, however due to my DC being less than a year old, he said it won't allow him to do it. But he said he put in a request to override it and that I should check again in 1 billing cycle to see if they've allowed it, otherwise they will reach out to me with their decision. He added that worst case scenario, my DC will be 1 year old in 2 more cycles so he said to try again then and I should have better luck.
But from the verbiage he used it seemed like it IS possible frim the chat if anyone with an older account out there wants to give it a shot.

Thanks for the update. I do remember the one year Citi rule to PC, now that you mention it (It's been a while, since I have done one)
I have (2) Older Citi Double Cash cards, but I think I am going to wait and apply, as to get the SUB.
I really don't need a high limit for the custom cash. I plan on a three app spree as to get SUB's on all.
Probably will go for the Citi Custom Cash, US Bank Altitude GO Connect & The Capital City Bank Max Cash Preferred Card.
Sorry for anything off topic.
Well, this is odd. My DC is almost 6 years old and I was given a flat NO. Maybe I'll try the Chat method, see what I can do. Thanks for the info @ShinsekaiYori

@Taurus22, I would try again, some CSR's are ILL Not very informed.
Sometime's you can get it done through a supervisor.
I believe that is how I re-allocated Citi Simplity into one of my Citi DC cards .. then closed the Simplicity.
