Experian Score

I have my FICO TU and EQ scores... I am itching to know my FICO EX score.

Does anyone know of a lender/creditor who always pulls Experian credit reports and scores? BTW, I live in IL.

I'm looking to apply for the Citi Gold AAdvantage Visa Signature card (They sent me an invitation to apply...). I have no idea which CRA they check for IL residents.

Any insight will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Experian Score

I apped for a CITI card back in 2008 and they HP EQ for me in Texas. Requested a CLI a couple of yrs ago and they also HP EQ for me too. GL.

Amex will always pull EX if they need a 2nd report, they will always pull TU.

Re: Experian Score

Amex pulled EX for me in Ohio. From what I have heard this is standard for almost every state.

There is a lot more to their decision than your score though. If I was in your position I'd be more concerned about making sure there was no wrong info on EX, and you can get that from Experian without having someone do a hard pull. If the info matches EQ and TU, then the score won't be wildly different and I wouldn't get too hung up on it.

Re: Experian Score

@Bigfoot...

I did pull my report and PLUS score from experian. The report looked accurate and clean. The PLUS score was pretty good but, we all know it's a FAKO. I just want the real thing. Don't really know if it's worth the ding of a few points from the inquiry...

Re: Experian Score

Also... I know that creditors conduct periodic reviews of their customers' credit reports. Has anyone ever tried or had success with calling the CS for a CC company and just plaing asking them if they will share the credit reports and/or scores they have on file from their last review?

Yeah, ignore the FAKO and concentrate on the info, imho. It may be worth the points ding or may not, but if Citi are enquiry-sensitive a new enquiry might not help.
