they sent my fico score in the approved letter,, but no i have not heard anything like that...
I'm in Illinois and CITI pulled EQ for me.
From my own personal experience, the FICO score is around 6 points higher than the experian FAKO score...My experian FAKO score was 761 when I applied for an Amex BCE, but when I received my approval letter from Amex my score was 767...

Yeah... I don't trust that... From what I've read there is no real formula for translating the PLUS score to the FICO score...

No, there isn't. They use totally different metrics and algorithms.

The only constant in credit scoring is change

it's my understanding that amex only sends out the score on thier credit cards not the charge cards and only if u did not receive the best rate on the card
I recently got a Zync, but only with the counter offer that they do. The score was on the original decline notice.
I'm in Illinois and just two weeks ago app'ed for and was denied by Amex. App'ed for the Plum card for my business. They used EX. In the letter they sent me my EX FICO was 683. My FICO's are TU - 683 and EQ - 671. When I check my FAKO scores (man I wish someone would take them) they are TU - 836 / EX - 826 / EQ - 754. But as we all know the FAKO scores are really irrelevant.
I know that Chase pulls from all three CRA's and that they determine which one specifically by random assignment based on zip code. Meaning a Chase branch in downtown Chicago will pull from TU while another Chase branch in say Lakeview will pull from EX. Only way to determine which one is to call a specific branch and ask them which they pull. I was lucky in that 3 months ago my Chase branch with whom I've had a relationship for about 3 years just happened to pull TU which was my highest score at the time. My business banking manager told me about Chase branches pulling from different CRA's based on zip code.
Hope that helps a little.
