Re: Good 0% Cards?

I was going to suggest the Plat as well but seeing as pinkandgrey is all over these forums, I figured that if it was a possibility, the apps would have been done awhile ago.

Re: Good 0% Cards?

Also as others have mentioned disco. I have had my card a little over a year. They just started offering me 0% for 12 months BTF 3% or 5.99% for 18 months no BTF, but they are stingy with CL so not enough to move any balances to them .

So I’m going to be making some decent-sized purchases in the semi-near future and I may (or may not) want to try out a card with a long intro period apr. What cards are good for such things and also have a good chance of giving me a decent SL? Chase is out as I’m sure you guessed.

If I do this, it wouldn’t be right away, but not so distant-future that I’d have a bunch of inqs falling off.

DPs:

FICOs all in the low 700s

Reported income around 35k

Inqs between 5-10 depending on bureau, several in last six months

AAoA around a year, AoYA a month

No negatives ever

Like I said, I might not do anything at all, because I don’t want another card if it’s going to mean a toy limit. The card doesn’t have to have rewards- - I just want a long intro 0%

Suggestions/advice?

Thanks!

I could be missing something, but I don't think anyone has asked if you have any military ties? What you're looking for screams Navy Federal Platinum if you can clear membership. Purchase on one of your other cards, and BT over to the Platinum 0% APR 12 months offer on new accounts.

Well my dad is a Navy veteran, but he isn’t an NFCU member and I don’t want the hassle of having to get his info etc.

If your father is a Navy vet, you’re truly missing out on one of the best financial institutions. I would definitely be getting that info if it was me 😂

Re: Good 0% Cards?

You could go for Amex Everyday card.  15 months 0%.  You are already in with them with BCE, so a soft pull ap.  Even if they won't extend you more credit based on income, you could transfer as much CL over to it as you need.

I just did the reverse this last fall, transfering much of my CL from my Everyday to BCE for 15 months 0%.
