Re: HSBC Offer:

i got one of these and i had the choice of loan or loc when i took it to the office. the rate bites, but 8.6k as a loc didn't count as a cfl and it certainly helps the uti rate.

Re: HSBC Offer:

Received the offer from HSBC's other company HFC (line of credit for $8000).   The offers are from HSBC companies (HFC or Beneficial) and have a pretty high APR (24-25%) which is non-negotiable. I did take advantage of it in order to increase my overall utility and pay off my existing credit card debt. I didn't  take the full loan, however they will report your approved amount. Hope this helps.

$4,176????

Are they related to the Sears/Citi people who gave HTSU her $1,212 CL?

Re: HSBC Offer:

The weird thing is they quoted two different amounts...I'm thinking this is a phishing thing...except they quoted the last four digits of my card number in the email...To strange!

Re: HSBC Offer:

Mine came to me in the mail.  They should have local offices in your city.  If you are interested, you can take the email you received to the office and they will qualify you, write up your docs and send you out with a check in an hour or less.

Re: HSBC Offer:

As Timothy pointed out above, this is a CFL.  Think long and hard about whether you really want it.

Re: HSBC Offer:
