Re: How does Chase set internal maximums?

Daisy, yes just did it. Freedom and Slate (no interest in Slate at all). However, I think I would first like the FU or possibly the new Reserve first. I'm not going to apply for anything until the Reserve is announced officially to see all the specifics on it are.
Chase Sapphire Reserve. Chase Freedom Unlimited. Amex Gold. Amex Everyday. Discover It. Capital One QuickSilver. Bloomingdales. Victoria Secret.

My husband and I each have 2 Chase cards, and no offers come up for us on the prequalifier.  We are way over 5/24.  But the offers don't just come up for everyone.

Ok, cool so it sounds like if an offer comes up, I shouldn't be at their internal max then?

https://www.chase.com/prequalified

All I see is this page when I check their prequalification page.  I've been told I'm at their internal limit and to just ignore all of the Marriott offers I'm mailed.

We are unable to locate any offers for you at this time.

This may be because you have opted out of "pre-screened" offers from Chase and other companies or you have recently responded to another offer from Chase.

However we may still have products to meet your needs. Please continue to chase.com

I was going to garden... Honest!
