Just an update!
I saw this arcticle from TPG (The Points Guy) from November 5th talking about the new Amex Gold and the delay on the delivery of the card: https://thepointsguy.com/news/amex-rose-gold-card-popular-crashed-usps/
So I am still waiting, haha! I got approved for the Amex Gold (rose gold) on Friday, November 9th and haven't received the card nor an Amex email saying that the card has shipped. On my account, under "card replacement" is says that the card was ordered on the 9th but under "address" it says pending. On the "comments" section (TPG link) that some people are saying that it took them 2 weeks to receive. I'm trying to be patient but its soooo hard, hahaha!
Like I mentioned on the original post, I can still use the card through ApplePay BUT, as restaurants (at least here in my area) don't take ApplePay (as I hand the card to the server, I don't actually go to the PinPad) I've been using the CSP which is not bad (2x) but I really want to use the Amex Gold because I wanna get to the SUB faster, haha! Anyways, just an update!
It was something like 2 days after i got the email that it was shipped it arrived a lot faster than i anticipated , it came via ups if it matters.

FWIW, mine was approved 10/22, shipped 10/30, arrived 10/31

I was approved for the Gold and Delta Blue on 11/5; they both arrived on 11/13, but, the Gold was UPS overnighted on 11/12 and the Delta Blue was snail mailed on 11/10.
Is there a way to email amex through the portal? I see a chat but it never has a button so I assume it's not available. How to do you get ahold of them via email or chat?
My husband received a business card from them about 7 days ago, but never an email that the card has been shipped.
