Does the gold card give 4x points for delivery services like Uber eats, postmates ect? Or just restaurants?

Just an update, card was shipped out this morning! 5 business days total and 7 including Saturday and Sunday for future reference!
Hey folks,
So, even though I got the email this morning saying that the card was on its way, the card was actually sent last night and via UPS overnight so I received the email saying that the card was shipped out this morning and received the actual Amex Gold card this afternoon, haha!
I believe that there is a priority for new cardholders so they are overnighting the cards.

That's a very good question, I'm not too sure! Maybe someone can help us here! I do know that there is an Amex offer going on right now where they give you an extra point when ordering through Seemless or Grubhub so that makes me think that its the regular 1x + an extra 1x for the Amex offer. Although, don't forget, you gotta add the offer to your card!
Maybe someone can better answer that question but its definitely a good one!
Thank you! What is the annual fee?

Hey!
The annual fee on that card is $250 not waived for the first year.

It depends on merchant code. So I'd say no cuz Uber eats etc likely shows up as like transportation or something, especially when we consider that the Amex Platinums Uber credit works for Uber eats.
But I'm sure before long it will be very well known if people are getting 4x on their GrubHub and Seamless orders.
Although, I have to say, it would be awesome if they could include Seamless and GrubHub as part of the 4x category or even 3x /2x haha! Just something! Maybe in the future (imagine here an emoji of hands praying, haha!)

Thats interesting uber eats counts as transportation, so would CIP/CSR give you 3x with uber eats not 4x but it isn't bad with 3x? I know chase is a lot more leniant with their definition of travel.
you get 4x points on grubhub/seamless. confirmed with rep and there are already confirmed data points on this.
