I find that myfico doesn't show the softs.  At least it hasn't on the reports I have pulled here.  to get the softs you have to go straight to the source unless you have a 3in1 like TC....sorry

I just double checked the myfico reports. Def. doesn't show any codes associated w/ the inqs but heck, they don't show the codes such as R1 etc. Know I need to look at my reg. reports. I know this much- myfico. cred. reports leave out too much and I will never pull a report from them anymore. Will pull directly from the main CRA. Only will get Fico scores here and if a report shows up w/ the score- oh well. Found this out the hard way a couple of months ago.

I've never seen an R1 or R9 rating on a consumer credit report.  Only behind the scenes.  What have you pulled that showed you the R or I ratings?  The fact that you can't keep up on when yourcreditors are looking at you is the only downfall I see of the FICO site Smiley Sad  The only reason I regret I no longer have TU.

No "secondary" reports (myFICO, TrueCredit, etc) that I am aware of show the softs. They can only be seen on the reports directly from the bureaus, including your freebies from annual credit reports dot com. Additionally, there are some reports that you get directly from the bureaus that are also secondaries, for instance the free EX report I got when I bought Quicken. If you're not coughing up the usual $8.95 or whatever to the CRA, you probably aren't going to get the full shebang.

I enrolled in EQ's Credit Watch Gold, and I love it. For $8.95/ month, I can pull a FULL EQ report every 24 hours, complete with softs and confirmation numbers. (However, it does not show the exact date that a report updates, only mm/yyyy.) If I wanted to buy a score, it would be a FICO score, because that's what EQ sells. I pull about once a week, because I'm worried about a split file, and I've never been able to determine if that happens when pulling secondary reports, or the real things. Also, and this is an odd thing to be happy about, since EQ is always the slowest to post new balances from my creditors, I figure if it's showing there, it's probably showing on all three.

Here are the prefices that show on EQ reports (c/p'd from the inqs section):

Prefix - Prefix Description

PRM - Inquiries with this prefix indicate that only your name and address were given to a credit grantor so they can provide you a firm offer of credit or insurance. (PRM inquiries remain for twelve months.)

AM or AR - Inquiries with these prefixes indicate a periodic review of your credit history by one of your creditors. (AM and AR inquiries remain for twelve months.)

EMPL - Inquiries with this prefix indicate an employment inquiry. (EMPL inquiries remain for 24 months)

Equifax or EFX - Inquiries with these prefixes indicate Equifax’s activity in response to your contact with us for a copy of your credit file or a research request.

ND - Inquiries with this prefix are general inquiries that do not display to credit grantors. (ND inquiries remain for twelve months.)

ND MR - Inquiries with this prefix indicate the reissue of a mortgage credit report containing information from your Equifax credit file to another company in connection with a mortgage loan. (ND MR inquiries remain for 24 months.)

PR - Inquiries with this prefix indicate that a creditor reviewed your account as part of a portfolio they are purchasing. (PR inquiries remain for 12 months.)

If you use a credit monitoring service, you will be mortified to see all your pulls. Smiley Tongue

I would have to look- but I think the two reports where I did see the codes (they had to send a sheet along w/ the report) was one sent to me by Ditech- so yes, this was a mortgageor- this was in Aug but I could swear that one was sent by TU w/ the full codes after I filed a dispute w/ them. Maybe it was EX- which is the one that you have to go thru CSC? It was that one.

Let me look in my expand-folder- I think I have it there.

Re: If you have opted out would that be the reason you can't pre-app on sites?

It's CSC.  For example it says in one column:

Type/Status
Duration
Frequency
Sched Pmt

R-1

Monthly
$-

Then in the same column for my student loan it says:

Type/Status
Duration
Frequency
Sched Pmt

I-1
120M
Deferred
$82

The other one was sent to us by Ditech. But this is from CSC. That's the one that EX uses in some states right? All I know is it is a pain in the a** to even sign in w/ them- much less dispute.

The DW has the "CW Gold" product-
I do not see the softs from this product

You may want to check-

Same thing when you backdoor a EX report.
