I was in the garden for 4 years, applied this last "Friday the 13th"
Got the card, wait until "Friday the 13th"
Second week in November 2020.

You get some sage, lit it, walk around the revice you intend to use, while simultaneously fanning the smoke with metal card.
It works every time
That only works if you go in a counter clockwise direction, if you do clockwise it will be a denial.
Lol
Don't forget to call the four quarters. You can watch the movie "the craft" for an example. While they recommend 4 people for best results in the movie, I haven't found the success rate any higher than when I do it by myself.

this is what i was thinking. goes with what allzero said. we trust them to be professional and do things by the book. but, if a person's trying to leave for the day, it can go either way. either they're not wasting the time to fully review your profile or they'll be more lax just to get it over with. if they're trying to meet their numbers at the end of the month or quarter, they're likely to approve imo.
omg, i just realized that my highest limit is on a wf cc. it went into review on a friday and was approved. it was towards the end of the month. lol.

Except person is seldom involved these days, unless there is some convoluting going on in this thread between the actual approve/deny vs fraud/verification
Those processes are connected, yet distinct from each other.
Apply when your CR looks good, and do your research on lender before applying
You can wait for February 31st for best results but if you have 10 new accounts, bunch of negatives, young file, it's not going to be relevant.
UW is not magic, it's preset criteria. You either meet them, or you dont.
These days, lenders that allow recon are becoming exceedingly rare. Computer doesnt look at the watch or calendar, nor does it go home.

Typically at the end of the month when I was with Chase, there would be a push to wrap up as many as possible before closing. Catering would be brought in so food was getting set up in the middle of the office about an hour before closing. They were most definitely not diving deep on recons or deals. That's why it was a coin flip. They either rushed you off citing your original denial reasons, or if you could give a decent explanation quickly, just approve.

I think this is the important thing to remember. Everyone is going all in on automated so it won't matter when you apply initially. Just on recon.
