i got my Discover It a little over a year ago so maybe the policy has changed since then, but i was live chatting with an agent at the time and they told me what i posted. I wasnt sure what i would be approved for so i asked about the secured and the non secured. They said they review your account within 6 months of account opening and automatically graduate you when you are elligable based on credit score/responsible account usage.
