Just got a secure message from Discover saying they reduced my APR from 20.99 to 11.99! So maybe check yours and see if you guy and girls got one!
Pretty sweet news, but its 0% for a while since I opened it a month ago and I don't carry balances. Wonder if they'll give me a CLI before it turns 1 year?! Haha Or maybe I should try punching that Luv button???
Congratulations!
Very nice APR reduction!

We are pleased to tell you that we have decided to lower the following Annual Percentage Rates (APRs)
on your account:
ANNUAL PERCENTAGE RATE (APR)
Purchases Prime + 8.74%, currently 11.99%V
V = Variable. Variable rates will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate.
This change is effective as of October 20, 2020. However, if you are currently receiving any lower APR
special assistance or benefit programs, the above-described new APRs will not apply to your account
until those other programs or benefits end.
Thank you for choosing Discover® Card.
Not sure if this is normal. I've had only one card, Cap1 and still has it's orginal apr. All my new cards have different rates
That is awesome!
Congratulations.

I am still at 16.24% APR. My CL is $45,000 and Discover will won't lower my APR% nor have they increased my CL automatically. So I guess I will keep using NFCU Go Rewards AMEX for my major expenses.
I just got one myself, but not an auto lol. I seen this thread and went to chat and asked, low and behold they gave me one. Just goes to show ya it never hurts to ask
I understand your concern for an overall reduced rate on future purchases. I show that you are currently eligible, congratulations! Your standard purchase APR for new purchases you make will be effective two days from today. It will be calculated at Prime + 15.99% which equals 19.24% variable, and will be reflected on your 12/19/20 billing statement. This change will not affect the APR on your existing balance. Do you accept?
Not the best but I was at 22.9 so what's that, 3.75 reduction?, ill take it!
Congrats to everyone else who got it done
I sent them a message and they lowered my APR to 20%. Down from 22% so I will take it and didn't cost me anything except 10 minutes on their chat.
Congrats on the reduction. Ms. Disco showing her love. Keep periodically checking, Discover is good on APR reductions.

Yeah, only if she would give me a CLI but seems like I will need to call in and talk to someone about it since its a "past relationship"
Congrats on the APR reduction!

Feels good to have Ms. Disco give me something. She just has a weird way of showing love
