@FireMedic1 wrote:We are all in a time that hasnt happened like this for yrs. With all thats is going on. I dont have a lot of credit cards/loans that others do have. Likewise I have cards/loans that others dont have on the other hand. When I login to my credit card accounts I see they have a link for people that are being affected. Each creditor has contact us or like my BB&T card saying you can get 5% CB on groceries and pharmacies for now. So many that cant work right now and live paycheck to paycheck. Many dont have savings as a buffer to pay bills outside of their credit card payments. My block is usually empty because everyone goes to work. A lot more cars are sitting in the driveways today. It sucks. Lets help each other big time.
I placed this here due to being credit related and as the busiest Sub Forum on the site. Most of the topics are credit card/loans related here anyways. (Outside of the garden) It will get more views than the Smorg Section. I'm hoping the Admin/Mod staff agrees with the special times we are going thru right now. We may not ever meet in person. We are typed letters on a webpage and we get to know each other by typed personalities. Lets get thru this together as #TeamMyFICO and help each other out.
So if you have had to turn to your creditor for help during this time. I feel its time to come together as we do just on the topic of credit as it is. And help each other on how your particular creditor helped you with your personal circumstance. In turn this could help a fellow member with the same company when it comes time to ask for help on how they can handle their situation also with the same creditor that you used for assistance. Be it suspending payments. Lowering APR's. Whatever help you recieved in any way . Please post the company and what they have done for you. Then the same can be applied to your situation when it comes time for assistance with the same creditor. We can get thru this as a TEAM. Together Everyone Accomplishes Much. May it all come to an end soon and life can get back to normal for all of us real soon. Sooner the better.
Special thanks to @Namaste7 for the excellent chart below and taking the time to keep it updated. Its Awesome! Game Changer!

Thank you so much for starting this post @FireMedic it has some very imporant
DP's that can certainlly help us. I just had to comment bc something happenened to me as I was
reading your post for the first time. Some of you might remember I opened an account with
a CU called Utilities Employees CU about the same time I opened two Langley FCU ones.
Well I am just sitting here waiting to get an MRI done in about an hour,so I was reading your post. Was on page 12 and my phone
rings. It is an UECU rep calling me asking if there was anything at all they could do
to help me right now. I said no,but thanked her for her kindness. We chatted a little more
and I talked about having my 12 yo daughter at home. She said "I am calling you from home with my 11 yo son sitting next
to me" It was just a great conversation we shared as parents. She said they were able to offer loans
deffered payments, help with finances if I needed a professional etc.
I left the conversation
feeling like were I ever to have to turn to a FI for help....I know who I would call first now.
Gotta get to the hospital,
have a great day guys :-)
Cheers
Alliant Credit Union is offering low interest emergency loans up to $5000 to members and, believe it or not, former members. User friendly online application, TU hard pull.

Well it's not actually 3%. It's a 3% discount off their normal rates. So you would be looking at 3.24% to 6.24% depending on the term and there is a .4% hike if you don't have it on autopay. Still a great offer for people who can use it though.
Sorry if already posted but DCU is offering up to 6 months of deferred payments on vehicle loans/credit cards.
connexus credit union is doing month by month basis on the same. 30 days deferred

Update: NFCU Emergency Loan approval - $5000/24 months @ 6%. 60 Months is not available. 1st payment is deferred until July. The approval took 20 mins.

Metro PCs (T-Mobile) Conpensated my bill for 2 for months, will be charged normal rate in June(Even after I already had a 60$ bill credit)
ALLy delayed my car note I'm assuming at the end of the loan so I will accure interest

This is big , thanks for sharing ![]()
No such luck with Grow Financial CU in Florida with my mortgage. All they are doing is letting you skip a payment but tacking it onto the next payment due. So basically you have a double or more payment due after you start getting paid again if laid off. I would have expected they would at least put those skipped payments at the back end of the payment schedule.
I knew I hated Grow Financial for a reason.
A friend just sent me this message -
So I have USAA bank, for like 30 years now... and today they called to ask me if it would be helpful to not make a car payment for 2 months and 0% interest for a year on my car loan.
Your welcome @UH_HUH . Hope all is well. I was hoping it wouldnt come to this. But its great seeing how everyone is giving tips from so many creditors and doggy clinics
to get by with this PITA Virus.
