New here -- Cap One CLI - Thanks!!!

All-

I'm newly registered, but have been trolling the forums for quite a while.

I took the advice, and used the number, posted in the forums to get a CLI from Capital One.  It worked!  They raised my CL from $500 - $1,000 on one card and from $750 - $1,250 on the other.

It certainly isn't a fortune, but I've only had the cards about 9 months and 6 months respectively.

There is some fantastic advice here, I appreciate it!

Very nice!  Wonder if they missed you for the automatic CLI.  Look forward to one just before the 1st year anni if your account has been perfect.

Speaking of 1 year annis and since you got your CLIs, I hear they do combine your CLIs to your oldest account if you ask... worth your while maybe if it drops a fee.

Congrats again!!!  Smiley Happy

Actually, my 1st card started with a limit of $300 - Auto increased it to $500, then I asked, and received another $500.  Same with the 2nd, started at $500 - $750 now it's $1,250.  Not bad for holding both cards less than a year!

Capital One is OK in my book.

Wow great!  DH had that $300 card and they auto'd it to 2k before the 1st anni.  Wondering if he could have gotten more.... it's his oldest card so unfortunately he's keeping it for the moment.  I say unfortunate because they won't convert the card to fee-free, though he was able to get it waived this year.  I agree, Cap1 has made some major changes in the past year or so and I like them more than I used to!

Congrats esfour! Very nice. Smiley Happy

Cap1 seems to love giving out $500 cli's. Very common for them to do that. I too received 2 cli's last month of $500 each on both of my cards.

I agree it seems to be some things going on at Cap 1 at the moment. I say ride the wave.

I called and they told me they could cut my interest rate from 16.9 to 12.9 percent. I countered that what I really needed was a CLI and was granted $500 to put me up to $1300. I started with a $500 limit. I just completed their Credit Steps program and should get increased to $1800 soon. Capital One is okay in my book.
