640-650 across the borad. i had one years ago my wife "opened" for me. to this day these are the only lates on my reports.

when i found out i had an account, that by that time was several times 30, 60 , 90, 120 time past due i called. i spoke with a supervisor and explained what happened and said even tough i didn't open it, i'm not going to file charges on my wife. she was very sympathetic and reduced some of the fees and intrest. i paid it off and tried to re-open it, denied. this year i appd and denied.

so for all that cap1 did with working with me, i'm not wasting a third set of pulls on them.

Did she charge some thing and don't pay back ? my capital one my wife she open for me last may 2006 and she don't let me know . but she don't charge any thing . when I got new home 08/2007. I found the card in old mail I call them activate it . and 4 month later i check my cr , it say i been late 60 day . because i don't pay the fee on 06/2007 , 07/2007 )I call capital one help me . they say sorry they can't  do anything . so I copy the bill and all my check from my bank . sent to cra's after they look they delete all late out of my cr . it took me 4 month to fix it .

IF SHE NOT USING THE CARD . YOU MUST DO SAME THING WHAT I DID ? IT SHOULD BE REMOVE OUT OF YOUR CR . CAPITAL ONE NEVER HELP YOU OUT .

she opened it up in my name, used it, and told me about it several months later (after the lates were racked up). some of the lates were incurred after i new i had the card, but she was paying the bills. seems she missed a few here and there.

Monty, I'm not sure about BoA, but Cap1 is notorious for playing hardball when it comes to GW'ing for lates.

But I did see one post by someone who called their backdoor number, and spoke to an acct. specialist, and they agreed to GW some lates.

I would think the older a late is, the better chance you have at getting it removed, if you've had none over the past year or so.

Not true. I have old lates from early 2006. I called the backdoor number and they tried, but said they were far too old to remove because of a system limitation. Then they shot my GW down through the mail.

I need to send another.

last month they just gave me cl up to 1000 . ( NO balance now ) today I want to call them again ask for 2000 . what do you guys thinking ? I needs buy the house for next 3 month I want my score up to 680 . now only tran 680 EX 660 EQ 635 , they say I needs EX 680 . thank you
