Re: Orchard lucky #

Does anyone know if this works on a secured card? I've had mine for 14 months. I called at 10 months and asked for a CLI and they said no. Is it worth a try on a secured?

If your utilization is low(below 25%), I would try.  It has been said that the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Smiley Wink

Re: Orchard lucky #

I too just called today to request a cli just 3 weeks before my 1 yr anniversary with Orchard. I simply informed the rep that I've been a loyal customer for almost a year and I use my card quite frequently and would like to get an increase without a hard pull. She asked for a soft pull, I agreed, and to my surprise she tripled my limit from $300 to $900 WITHOUT A FEE...WOOOHOOOO!!!- effective immediately(current balance is only $45)

At best I was HOPING for a $100 increase not $600. I am so pleased!! Looks like I'll be trashing 1st Premier sooner than I thought! This is gonna work miracles for my overall uti.

HSBC Secured card never unsecures.

If it's an Orchard card it can unsecure. They unsecured mine and doubled the limit.

Re: Orchard lucky #

I am curious if i should try to get an CLI . It has been a busy 6months for me credit wise  I am currently showing 25% utility (until my kays updates) Right now i only have a 12month Average age of account . My oldest right now is my orchard will be a year in may. (have an old account from 9 yrs ago showing ) and a BOA that is june . But to put things into a better perspective

Since may of last year . I have gotten the orchard card , BOA card , a kays card, target card, another HSBC MC , a best buy store card and a dell account that has $872 out of $2500. A new mortgage in Oct and a new car in Nov . Currently all cards are paid off besides maybe $30.00 between the BOA and the orchard. I have zero negatives on my reports and my EQ shows about 13 pulls and my TU shows 5 . Should i bother ? or should i just give it time .

Re: Orchard lucky #

I'd say go for it only if it requires either no credit pull or a soft pull, meaning you have nothing to risk. Good Luck.

Re: Orchard lucky #

I just picked up $100 without a pull.  Smiley Happy  The account rep was easy to talk to, and very, very sweet!

Edited to add that I picked up $100 on each card that I have with them--I have two, so $200.  Smiley Happy Thank you so much for posting the number.
