@Ilinferno sorry for the denial, but perhaps it was due to having already applied prior? It seems like the prequal can yield good results as evidence above. 🤔
I do think it's safe to say their website needs some work.... security errors on multiple devices when I try to continue the prequal app.
But IIRC PenFed has been behind for a while on website quality.
It absolutely could be due to the previous application, I also just realized that I froze each of my reports after getting approved for the Affinity Cash Rewards so that could be it too. I definitely hope that the pre-qual does turn out to be solid in the majority!

That's what happens when you outsource web development for high security websites overseas 🙃.
I just got approved for Power Cash and the Gold card last week with 1 HP but wanted to see if they would pull my same report for prequal. Tried it on the Platinum and filled in form without logging in because when i did login it would redirect me back to same page (similar to other poster). I froze my EQ so it came back with "we sent you instructions to unfreeze your EQ..". But I'm going to pass on this one.

Additional insight: From my applications last week, both apps timed out with errors after a slow hourglass. After about 10seconds too long the error showed. Went to main menu and my apps say Conditionally Approved (because i had just opened a savings account and my deposit didn't reflect yet) but the app does indeed go through and your status would show on the main menu or the application status page despite the timed out error.
And that response is super lame. I build websites and none of the suggestions given would help if your website is built on outdated systems. The error is on PenFed, not the user 😂
