Honestly, I'm only in this for the "protection" benefits on electronics.  I'm about to just go Discover and Chase instead (dumping Citi, keeping BofA)

Why are you dumping Citi?   Keep what you have, its not doing you any harm.

Patience is a virtue in credit.   You're 19, you're not going to have every prime card overnight.   You have 2 prime cards, relax a bit.

Ya, Citi Forward is an awesome card. Best cash back for restruants and movies (constant). Why would you get rid of that?

I thought about this and you're right, I'll sock-drawer the card and let that go where it wants.  I just want to replace it in my "top 3" with a Chase Freedom.  My goals are 3 cards,

BofA Cash Rewards (have/love it)

Chase Freedom

Amex Blue

If I have that, I go into PERMANENT gardening mode.

BofA Cash Rewards VS - $25k | Citi Double Cash World MC - $18.9k | Amex BCE - $50k | Discover it - $50k | Chase Freedom Unlimited VS- $10k | Barclay Ring $5k |

Good luck to you.  I am confused though. You wrote you want a Chase Freedom but your signature reads you have one with a 3K Limit that you dont use - I dont get it.

I was approved for a card this past Friday but they did not tell me a limit. Can I call in and ask?
