Yes, usually around the 6 month mark.

Yes, usually around the 6 month mark.
But not always. We've had one SM for 13 months, one for 16 months, and no auto-CLI
if we ask for CLI, will that be a HP or SP?

With Barclays.. .HP.
@Anonymous wrote:While it is true that having a 700+ FICO would greatly improve your chances, Barclays is one of the more lenient lenders and there is definitely a YMMV aspect to it. I was approved upon recon for the Sallie Mae with a TU in the 640s.
And yes, the Sallie Mae WMC is a godly card.
what APR and CL did they give you with that score
@sosabe77 wrote:FYI: I just applied for a 2nd Sallie Mae Mastercard to double reward caps (per VirtualCuriosity's advice in this post) and I got instantly approved for another one with a credit limit 2X my 1st one! I'm actually surprised since they denied me a CLI on the 1st Sallie Mae Mastercard a little over 6 months ago. Either way, time to double up on cashback!
Was that an HP?
If ppl are trying for a 2nd SM card and get denied.. aren't they waisting an HP?

I have the platinum version. Not really sure how I got approved - all I had on CR was 3 months of Cap1 reporting a $300 balance (with high util) and some AU accounts. Apparently I am real lucky.
What's the difference between plat SM and non plat?

The card comes in 2 flavors the fixed rigid CL platinum or the world MC version that is a flexible spending card (has a limit but you can exceed it)
$1500, 22.99% APR. Not the best terms, but I was thrilled with it.
