No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Maybe you lose sleep if you had no savings and 2 cards with $300 limits. Then if a major car repair or other expense hits you, you might toss and turn.
But 10K total credit when you PIF gives you a lot of breathing room if you are hit with a $1,000 expense. You got 2 good cards that can grow if you cultivate them.
Absolutely you should! 😆

(The 2k limit is the Uber Visa).
Absolutely not. Before I joined this forum and was just browsing and reading, I had 2 credit cards. One was my BoA Cash Rewards, which I built up from $500 secured to unsecured. The 2nd was my creditone card $550, I still keep this and fight the annual fee every year, but it is sock drawered now. I joined the forums back in June after browsing for months and kept browsing. Within this time frame, I got not only a new car leased (first new car ever!) but also a Discover ($4000 to $5000), PPMC ($700 to $4000), BBVA Compass ($4800), My BOA is now at $3000, Citi Rewards+ $1000 SL, Petal Card $2000 (sock drawer, useless but for my credit file), and my biggest goal so far, my first Amex card (delta blue, $1000 SL.)
We all work our way up, everyones knowledge here helped me jump from $850 in credit to a little over $20,000 in little over 6 months. It has given me more room to do repairs, trips, and just get out here and there. Along with the benefits each card maintains, I use certain ones religiously for cashback and/or points. I steady maintain 5-15% utilization, which has given these companies trust in giving me CLI's (except Citi, they are a PIMA.)
Keep doing all you can, its a journey. After my goal of the Amex BCP is obtained, I'm done with my credit journey until I get myself a mortgage. It's been a fun journey for me, I'm sure it will be for you too.
You are perfectly fine. My current limit for my Barclays (not Uber) is $17,000. However, the initial amount was like $1,200. So how it did it get to this amount?
Used the card for two years and got Auto CLIs. Then had gotten a second Barclays card (still not Uber for like $3,500). Later, I moved the limit from the second (which also got a few auto CLIs) to the surviving card. I now was at like $10,000. Did opt for a HP Once and honestly don't remember- maybe a $2000 or $3000 increase with the HP. In the end, took me Five years to get to today.
With your spending, your increases should be forth coming. Also, you Could just go for the increase via an HP.
As mentioned, its more a marathon than a sprint. Good luck.
Absolutely no reason to be ashamed.
Don't waste energy "loosing sleep at night over it." You can do what many of us have done after finding MyFICO... "stay awake" half the night reading the info and MF members stories. The people and info on this site are amazing, more importantly... they are empowering!
Patience, knowledge, and will power... your CL will grow. Good Luck 👍🏼

@Anonymous wrote:I'm a big restaurant/bar & Uber spender. I spend at least $750-$1000/month on it, which I worry is bad for my score due to the high utilization.
I do pay it off in full every month. Had it for about 6 months now.
Make payments BEFORE your statement cuts.
This will decrease your utilization.
It may also. Show them you need and deserve CLIs.
GL!
DON'T WORK FOR CREDIT CARDS ... MAKE CREDIT CARDS WORK FOR YOU!
Yes, very ashamed......So put your head down and go into the corner until they get higher. JK!

Ashamed or Insulted?
