Well I knew this was coming got an alert from Exp . Synchrony has slashed dh's limit from 10K to 1024😡 on his amazon store card , I am sure this is just top of iceberg with them .

Score dropped 3 points with notation that having one's limit reduced may have a negative effect . I wonder what card will be next 🥺

Grrrr that's so frustrating. Had something changed recently with his credit? Or was this just "Sync being Sync"?

@pinkandgrey  His scores have  stayed steady and even up a few points. I think it's Synch being synch, but in all fairness card doesn't get a lot of spend sooooo. I am guessing marvel may be next .

They typically 'right-size' CLs to that funky amount... usually ending in xx24.  This happened on my Banana Republic Visa a while ago (I had not used it for a bit).  Coincidentally, there was a promo of earning $50 for spending $500 in 30 days so perfect timing.  A quick call to Credit Solutions restored the CL and made note of the CLD to get more usage out of it.

True it could have been just shut down and closed. 

We are have been contemplating thinning the herd so he/me may just close some of his cards and just may thin the synch herd.

I wouldn't worry much about this mom. 

Synch does adjust CLs from time to time. They CLD my care credit a couple of years ago. I think it went from $15k to $5k.

Not a big deal, the other cards have remained intact. Don't sweat the small stuff.😉
